  • Favorite snowboarder – Chloe Kim and Marcus Kleveland.
  • How long you have been snowboarding – Since I was 9.
    Weird hobby – Answering everyone’s questions about Australia.
  • Favorite past time other than snowboarding – Traveling to warm places between winters to get some sun.
  • Favorite snowboard trick – Trying out anything new in the park.
  • Why you got into coaching snowboarding –  I trained with Riders when I was 15 and absolutely loved the team so after I started instructing and coaching in Australia and Japan I thought coming back to coach with riders would be the best way to keep doing what I love with the best team.
  • Favorite thing about Riders On Board – The Riders family and being able to ride and train with awesome kids and coaches.

  • Favorite snowboard trick – half cab or frontside 180’s
  • Why you got into coaching snowboarding – I’m a snowboard nerd and I really believe at the core snowboarding is healthy, creative and life changing. I’m also a huge advocate for Edmonton snowboarding. I’ve snowboarded in a lot of places and the hills here are my favorite.
  • Favorite thing about Riders On Board – getting to be a part of a really amazing community! I love seeing familiar faces every time I go to the hill. Makes it feel like home!

  • Weird hobby – Dodgeball. It’s not just a sport, it’s a lifestyle.
  • Favorite past time other than snowboarding – Exercising
  • Favorite snowboard trick – Backside Lipslide
  • Why you got into coaching snowboarding – I always enjoyed teaching and helping others, and I found snowboarding was a perfect outlet for me to do so. I get more excited when someone else learns a new trick than when I do.
  • Favorite thing about Riders On Board – How non typical of a club it is. By that I mean we encouraged each riders to learn at their own pace, and the number one goal is to have fun!

  • Why you got into coaching snowboarding – helped coach last year and had an amazing time so I figured I’d do it for real this year.

  • Weird hobby – My family says collecting snow in my back yard to build a mini pipe is pretty weird.
  • Favorite past time other than snowboarding – Golf & playing/watching hockey
  • Favorite snowboard trick – floaty backside 180, straight up backflip
  • Why you got into coaching snowboarding –  started instructing  way back when so I could get out to the mountains and ride all the time, then I realized coaching is way better because you get to build relationships & actually pass on the love & passion for the sport to dedicated riders.
  • Favorite thing about Riders On Board – The tight-knit family feeling the club has and how everyone has the same mindset that “Snowboarding is freaking awesome”!
