General Fitness

We are stoked to run our General Fitness program out of The Edge School for Athletes. This facility offers a large NBA sized gymnasium and is located only 5 minutes from Canada Olympic Park. In combination with the Calgary Climbing Center, getting in shape for snowboarding proves to be one our-our most popular programs. Circuit training, indoor rock climbing, dodgeball and slack-lining will all be a part of getting in shape for the 2017/18 snowboard season. Dryland programs focus on general fitness, core strength, flexibility, development and strengthening of snowboard specific muscle groups, agility and endurance. Athletes wanting to become serious competitors need to be fit and ready for the start of the season. Dryland training reduces the risk of injury while making snowboarding easier and safer, enabling athletes to reach their performance goals.

For all athletes in our Competitive program participation in Dryland Training is mandatory.
