Competitive Girls 13-17

Coach recommendation and approval is required for this program.
Targeted towards the competitive girl aged 11 to 17 years old who is looking to compete while maintaining a fun, relaxed training environment.The program will allow girls to progress their snowboard skills with a mix of girls only and co-ed sessions to optimize progression and will encourage girls to not only progress their own snowboard skills but to support each other throughout the season to maintain a progressive team mentality. It includes 2 Saturday mountain camps and the Girls Kicking Horse Camp to promote the importance of a well-rounded snowboard skill set that can help girls tackle challenges both on and off the hill. Coaches expect girls to be motivated with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to individual and team progression. Riders can expect to compete in 1-3 competitons throughout the winter (coaching at events included). Full Dryland package is mandatory.
  • Pre-season orientation for parents and athletes to discuss the season’s contests (date TBA)
  • Sessions run Tuesday & Thursday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Canada Olympic Park
  • 3 hrs per session
  • Kicking Horse Girls Camp (date TBD, lift tickets not included)
  • 2 Saturday Mountain Camps (dates TBD, lift tickets not included)

Off Snow: $699.00 + GST (Full Dryland Program General Fitness and Aerial Awareness)

On Snow: $2,285.00 + Club fee + GST – 2 nights/week (includes 2 mountain sessions and Kicking Horse Girls Camp)

On Snow: $3,085.00 + Club fee + GST – 3 nights/week (includes 2 mountain sessions and Kicking Horse Girls Camp)

• Parent snowboard knowledge support services
• All althetes registered in a competitive program recieve free drop in skate @ The Compound
 

Extra Expenses to keep in mind:

FIS license: approx $110 (riders 13+)
Lift tickets, COP season pass and day passes for mountain days/contests
Equipment

This fee does not cover any extra coaching for competitions/additional training days throughout the season.
All programs are subject to 5% GST.
All programs are non-refundable – no exceptions including injuries.
Hill Pass not included.
