Freestyle Basic

Designed for the proficient snowboarders aged 6+ that are comfortable on their snowboard. Riders wanting to register for this program must be Stage 3 Athletes, according to Canada Snowboard's Long Term Athlete Development Program. Able to turn, carve, have the basics of jumping, basic tricks and controlling speed on their snowboard. If you are under 8 years old and believe you are a Stage 3 rider, please contact office@ridersonboard.com before you register. This fun based, affordable snowboard program is a great introduction for young riders to develop and progress freestyle snowboard skills. Coaches emphasize fun and fundamentals while working on building self-esteem and rider confidence. Within a relaxed club atmosphere, riders will develop skills in free-riding and work on building solid foundations in the park. Riders will also be introduced to the importance of goal setting and mental skills. Riding groups will be comprised of riders of similar age and skill level to ensure proper progression.
