Split Skills and Shredding- 2 day Course

This program is ideal for those who have either taken an AST 1 course or have a few days of backcountry riding under their belt.  Day 1 is run in K-Country and focuses on the efficient and effective use of a splitboard as a means of getting around in the backcountry.  Participants will start to build a personal process on how to best do transitions, read simple terrain and recap on basic rescue skills.  Day 2 will be spent under the watchful eye of a certified ACMG Splitboard guide in either K-Country or the National Park.  This session will apply the skills learned on day 1 and tie it into the context of a day of chasing powder and getting great turns.
