Calgary | Dryland Training (Sept-Nov)

We are stoked to run our General Fitness programs out of our new Compound 2.0! Our facility offers a private basketball/dodgeball court/gym and in combination with skateboarding and trampoline, getting in shape for snowboarding proves to be one of our most popular programs. Athletes wanting to have a long healthy season need to be fit and ready for the start of the season. Dryland training reduces the risk of injury while making snowboarding easier and safer, enabling athletes to reach their performance goals.

General Fitness Pro is designed for riders in our Comp/Comp+/PFTP/TCP programs.

What is Dryland training?
Snowboarders train during the off-season months to improve their performance and stay in shape for when they go back on-snow. Dryland programs focus on general fitness, core strength, flexibility, development and strengthening of snowboard specific muscle groups, agility and endurance.

What do you do during Dryland training?
General fitness/body weight training, games on our basketball court, in combination with skateboarding and trampoline aerial awareness on our 14x14 MaxAir super tramp. Our indoor skatepark has features for all level skateboarders. Circuit training and snowboard addiction training boards will all be a part of keeping our fitness levels up for the snowboard season.

For all riders in our Competitive programs, participation in Dryland Training is mandatory
